Dump the chaos

Ramble at the Orb or type it. It pulls the real tasks out of the mess, in your own words, instead of inventing a plan for you.

Draft three

Pick three quests for today and bench the rest. A list of nineteen is a wall. A list of three is a door.

Finish one, hit the boss

Every completed task deals real damage to the week's boss. Your hero celebrates. The number moves. Something happens.

Literally.

One selfie forges a twenty-stage hero that is actually you, in every world. Premium is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year, and it unlocks two things: a hero that's actually you, and private Guilds. Everything else — quests, bosses, all four worlds, the twenty stages and the Orb — is free and stays free.

Your photo is used to generate your hero and nothing else. You choose whether to turn it on, and deleting your account removes its images.

Questions people actually ask

I've abandoned every planner I've ever downloaded. Why would this be different?
Because nothing here punishes you for disappearing. Miss six days and your XP, levels and hero are exactly where you left them. No red wall of overdue items, no guilt screen, no character that starved while you were gone. You pick one small quest and you're moving again. Most task apps are built to measure your consistency. This one is built to make starting survivable.
Is it actually a game, or a to-do list with points bolted on?
There's real consequence. Finishing a task takes visible health off a boss with a name and a health bar. XP accumulates into levels, levels change your character's form across twenty stages, and there's a journey map you physically move along. The tasks are your real life. The reactions are the game.
How does the Orb work?
You dump everything at it, out loud or typed, in whatever order it falls out of your head. It hands back the actual tasks in your own words rather than inventing a plan for you. AI planning is opt-in, off until you switch it on in Settings, and you can switch it off again whenever you like.
Do I have to talk to it?
No. You can type at the Orb instead, which is what most people do when there's someone asleep in the next room.
What do Guilds do?
A Guild is a private room for up to six people. You share one daily streak and take on the weekly boss as a party, and it turns out the thing that finally gets the washing done is four other people watching the health bar. Guilds are part of Premium and they are in beta. Every member needs Premium, so this is something you do with people who are in on it, not something you spring on a group chat. You can look around a Guild before you're asked to pay, and the shared streak and weekly raid only start once a second Premium hero joins.
What's free and what costs money?
Free forever: every quest, every boss, all the XP, all four worlds, the full twenty-stage hero, and the Orb. You never pay to use Questify as a task game. Premium is $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year in the US and it unlocks two things — personalized avatars, which turn one selfie into a hero that's actually you, and private Guilds. Nothing you have already earned is ever taken away if you stop paying.
Is this an ADHD treatment or a medical tool?
No. Questify is a task game designed to make starting easier. Plenty of people with ADHD find that helps them start, and the app is built with that experience in mind, but it does not diagnose, treat or manage any condition and it isn't a substitute for professional support.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Questify is iPhone and iPad only right now.
